Yep, Apparently all the sliders set everything to ULTA HIGH no matter where they are. The presets seem to be ok, so Low or Medium should, hopefully, be better for you.

Must use System Specifications presets ONLY. Any changes to individual settings in the advanced video settings do not save correctly. DO NOT CHANGE ANY INDIVIDUAL VIDEO SETTINGS. USE PRESETS ONLY. That will fix it.

After yesterdays patch i finally got around to actually have some drops but it is a mess.I`m not talking about encountering the same letter for callsign over and over or aquiring locks without even having the targets triange above their heads and stuff.
I`m talking about the graphics issue!
I have an i7 with 8gb 1600mhz ram and a geforce gtx 260.I know that the bottleneck is my GPU but it worked perfectly on high before the patch. Now if i set it to high(game says medium for me) it stucks during the battle(teen fps).I say ok lets run it medium witch returns my fps to normal 50-60 but it is a massive problem to actually see the enemy mechs. If they pass throuh a shadow they are unrecognizable.

Obviously in PGI-land "Low" means "Very high"
"Medium" means "low"
"High" means....
Well I can´t go on...this is just stupid.
Hopefully you will be able to play again soon JD, that´s all I´ll say.
I do not even know what graphic settings I have, because I cannot read the tiny and narrow text.

If you have a 19` at least monitor then ghange it to 1768-98something , it will fix your text and broaden up your window.

It's even worse for me : after i input my password and the client proceeds to the screen that says "connecting" the game freezes there
The workaround is (when it works) .... -for God's sake- to press the ESCAPE key to skip the intro videos (pgi - nvidia logo etc)
It's not SPACEBAR its the ESC key now and this workaround is in the forums!!!!!!!!
And IF and WHEN i get to the Home screen or mechlab like yesterday - after i tried to play around with the options to get used to the new UI (which while looking good is a clusterf@ck of info) i got a CTD
That was the last straw for me - the game is simply unplayable.
- How do you find an engine which is installed somewhere around my 60+ mechs?
- Instead of "Save Mech" ...go to cart ... really?
- Mech Loadout navigation was so much better-faster-simpler in the old ui.
/sigh

I don't understand how you are able to even launch the game with that vid card on high settings buddy
Trolling aside, if you check the official forums, people say that you wouldn't see any difference with a gtx 260 to 660ti since the game is very CPU power bound. I found a specific example of a guy who had his gtx260 upgraded to a 760 and the difference was not so big...
So which i7 @ what speed do you have to begin with? Is it a laptop?
Also other people suggest if you have an
ambient occlusion setting in the nvidia control panel to turn it off with MWO - provided your drivers are up to date.
Hope i helped a bit.
