Naaahhh lrms are on both sides just makes it more challenging right now its heavy until more people go ecm and stay in cover then lrms wont be as good and less will be taken ..etc

Happens its very up and down right now and few can dominate, and theres was more big stuff because of the tournament.

Guys since the begining of the closed beta someone was discomfort about something.I remember the lrmgedon then the ECM menace , later the AC40 Jagers yesterday the poptarts and now lrmgedon all over again.PGI through all its stupidity and slow movement in general is at least trying to counter the halls in the game.The lrmgedon was stopped by the introduction of the ECM with a huge number of people cursing. Then more people forced to carry more balistic and direct fire weapons to take some shots at the 3ls back then.With the introduction of the Jagers the metabuilds got into our lives.A huge number of people kept on whining about how this is easy mode until the poptarts showed up.Then the same meta AC40 pilots were nagging about them and forgot their own.Now the lrms are ripping apart the pops and they are nagging too.
Lets take that backwards.The lrm boats are effective against the poptarts and meta in general but are week against ECM lights cause they are too fast and they can`t be targeted while they rip appart full of exploding ammol components.The ECM except the D-DC are mostly lights that can be torn appart by streak boats with BAP and the D-DC is so slow that a noob can tag it easilly.The long range mechs with "earlike" hands above their heads can soften up the enemy brawlers from safe distance giving up almost no target behind a ridge while they try to flank the streakboats that have huge xl engines to keep up with the lights and are mostly meds with adequette armor and very explosive ammo.
So its not what they have but its how you counter it.I know that this can`t be done in a PUG game but when we start to drop 12mans will be a different thing.MWO is a thinking persons RPG not an FPS so there is always a solution to any problem if you do not give up.

i do understand your point cyber. but as yyou know me i allways hated being rained by lrms and as fox said "its like kaozer have a LRM me tag in the back" as it is, i appreciate the effort that they make in trying to balance the game but they are doing it wrong... to be honest they should have a test server for any changes like this have feedback fromt he community and adjust. i know most of you dont like this game but world of tanks works like this and while they have bias toward russian vehicles the patches do not bring catastrophic results like this LRMaggedon.

- LRM flight speed has been increased from 120m/s to 175m/s
LRMs were in need to get a buff. But not 50m/s! 25-30m/s would be good enough.

that's what i'm talking about if they did test server or just simply ask on the forum stuff like this would not happen.

PGI works in mysteriouw ways that s or sure , but the lms may be extremely affectve right now but they can be countered by good strategy.If the spotters gets hunted the boats will never have good locks.Thats what i`m saying.
As for the test server , they had on ui2 and what good did it make?As i said PGI works in mysterious ways.

game is fine, just adapt. use ecm, take cover. LRMs are just as usefull as everything else is now. before they were USELESS. all they diid was put hem on par with the other weapons. personally I think dakka is BS, but its how the game is played now. learn to adapt or die.

Tactics helps yes. But theres a problem when twin AMS doesnt even stop lrm5
