Got bogged down with a bunch of big work projects that I had to go over into overtime for this week. Beyond that even when I had the time... I really don't like messing with groups with phase 1 in place. It feels like a lot of work for not much overall point.

The point is to work closer together as a lance, once we can go back to 8v8 play what we learned through Phase 1 we can put into practice, being above all TeamWork, Focus Fire and small unit tactics. Then once we are back into the 8v8 "pug stomp" we can use this knowledge to better work together in this format with the ultimate goal being Community Warfare. In which we will be facing other "premade" teams so we better have our act together, otherwise we will get our arses handed to us.

I know Phase 1 makes things more difficult, instead of dropping with 8 ppl from your unit/house now you have to drop with only 4 of them and 4 pugs, this makes tactics abit more challenging. If it wasnt for some moron(s) that couldnt handle getting beat, we wouldnt be in this mess but we need to make the best of it.

I would like to ask you to please not get discouraged if you dont see alot of us on right now. We are here, many of us have RL things going on and cant get on when we want. If you for whatever reason feel that you be better off going somewhere else because of more active members, I would hate to see you go but I wish you luck and the best of wishes.

I'd like to reiterate that we're not gone, nor are many of us going anywhere. Phase 1 is just the tip of the iceberg on what was wearing on some of us. The combination of Phase 1 plus a lacking of new content for those of us who have been in beta for a long time now has contributed to a bit of burn out. I know that goes for me, and mostly for Wolfong. I've heard similar thoughts from others in this unit.

But just because we're not all over the TeamSpeak right now, does not mean we wont be. I've been dropping occaisionally over the last few weeks, and I've also been keeping an eye on the TeamSpeak both through the module on the front page of the FWLM website, and by logging in real quick to see who is on. There are only a couple of people that I can say *have not been on in more than a week and a half*. Everyone else in our roster has been on at one point over the last week and a half, or even multiple points.

That said, I am a little bit disappointed in practice attendance, even in spite of Phase 1. We had a discussion thread here on these forums so that people could voice their opinions on the schedule. We wanted to make sure practice times worked for most, if not all. Yet while I've missed one practice myself, I've been at all others and only seen 3 or 4 others show up in addition to me. We have these scheduled times. If you want to drop together, lets get on at these times together.

In addition to all this: The fact is that we will *always* be dropping with various people from all over the house. The units in this house are not wholly separate and distinct in a way that they'll only be dropping with members of their own unit. Especially during community warfare, drops will always be mixed between units. Thats the way it was in the past, and thats just how it'll end up again. It's the nature of how the type of faction warfare PGI wants works.

But... I've rambled on enough on the subject. My final thought is that if you see other 4th on, make an effort to drop together. I don't expect you all to like each other, and if there would be friction dropping with someone, then politely decline. When we have enough players we'll have multiple companies and they can be as separate or intermingled as their members want. But whats the point of being in a unit if you don't play with them when you're both on?

I agree with all that's being said. I only been in the BETA since mid August, and even I get weary of the lack of new content AND the bugginess of said new content when there is (really don't like the fact they removed collisions and tripping ... plsu what they did with missiles, even if I don't use them).

Before last week I was on just as much as usual but I wasn't playing as much ... did a lot of talk cause it changed the beat, you know.

This week though if I'm not on it's because I have GPU problems ... yeah I bought a new one and it's been two returns, sold my old card so right now I only have my onboard GPU which doesn't really allows for a good MWO experience ... so instead of hanging around Teampseak not playing I'm doing other stuff.

I will be back eventually ... I really hope I get my card tomorrow and can be done with these problems and play on Saturday and Sunday.

So this is my "Why Korner not there" update !! See you soon guys.

Me again ... typing this from work since I do not have a computer anymore ... hard drive crashed hard but I'm lucky on this happens on black friday / cyber monday deals time ... so I'm waiting for my new SDD HD to come in then I'll be able to start from scratch and join the battlefields again.

Hopefully I'll have some free premium time left to farm some cash before we reach phase 2.

Thanks boss ! I received my HDD yesterday but didn't have time ... I should be able to install everything either tonight or tomorrow and be there during the weekend even if I booked a hell of a weekend.

Can't wait to try out the Cataphracts, had been waiting for its release !

Just an update on my situation:

Since the Nov. 20th patch, my framerate is consistently between 9fps and 19fps when moving. When not moving, it may be as high as 30fps. The only map this isn't true on for me right now is River City, funny enough as that is...
