That was an awesome game. Check the enemy team. Two of the lighter Mediums, three Heavies, one Battlemaster and no less than 6 Atlai. And we trounced them. They had a 90 ton advantage.

We went left with 2 PUGs, avoiding the Caldera and ran right into three of the 100 tonners, as well as a Blackjack, the Orion and the Jäger (of a competent Marik guy). By not advancing directly but circling their group we seperated the support Mechs from the Altai and killed them from lightes to heaviest. We lost Demon in the process.
He told us a bit later that we had three AS7s incoming. My first thought was "we just had that" and Sebi first thought, it was a joke. But the other three Atlai indeed crushed into our group from behind. And we killed those too. We had to open every one of them too, as they were at yellow armour max. And then we picked up the stragglers (Thunderbolt and Battlemaster)
All by staying in motion, instead of using our speed to just circle individual Mechs, which basically keeps you in the same area all the time.

Quite a good day for heavy cavalry.

Let me lay you the set up!
2 lights (spider cicada) rushed our base with only me Demon and Kiff left alive.Demon in a Cicada is the fastest and leaves us to RTB.In the base Demon needs help and Kiff goes too while i atay to hunt a Hawk.Demon looses a leg and just in time Kiff arrives and hunts the Spider and Cicada while our base is 70% capped and i come from the other door and put them in the middle.We hunt them a bit and Kiff kills the Spider and i the Cic.In the meantime some very heavy guys were rushing for our base (BLR ,CAT ,JAG ETC).My Wang was in a better shape so i take point thinking that there is only the BLR in there and Kiff follows.As we make the corner they are all there so we startrunning in circles shooting them and then the British "El Ninio" brakes loose and kills all 5 of them in less than a min!!
The rest is history , Demon is shouting and i`m left thinking WTF has just happened.
